First of all, it’s an adorable and well-curated space. Second, Rachel is a fabulous, personable, intelligent woman who is incredibly welcoming to anyone who walks through the door. My friend and I visited earlier this spring. She purchased a beautiful ceramic dish. I purchased a lavender candle by the maker Jack’s Daughters - it’s an all-natural candle and one of a few scents sold at the shop by this maker. Sometimes more natural candles don’t emit much scent, but this one is absolutely lovely without being overpowering. It’s also lovely to look at! My only complaint for the shop is I wish the assortment were bigger - and I think that’s a very good complaint to have! I’ll be back! Pro tip: don’t forget to look on the second lower shelf on the larger table, there were some beautiful glass pieces tucked under there that are gorgeous!

The bright and sunny storefront is just so stunning. Each piece hand picked and intentionally displayed, putting a mostly online shopper like myself right at ease. The owner, Rachel, is so warm, approachable and knowledgeable. You can see the heart behind Story & Teller, and I just love how she herself has hand picked each piece from artisans and makers all over! Such an all around celebration of small businesses. Truly nothing like it.

My husband and I love to host so I was looking for some kitchen and dining pieces to polish and elevate our space. Rachel was so so so helpful!

I am obsessed with the pieces I got - the Yamuna Orb Cruet Set literally brings me joy every single day while cooking! I’ll also put the set out on display on the dining table while hosting and I’ve already gotten so many compliments on it! Truly want all of story & tellers kitchen and tableware.

Also, the one of a kind marble carved incense box, and decadent candles and lotion by Jack’s Daughters!!!! Best gifts I’ve gotten myself 🤣

Story and Teller is the cutest store in the North Loop with an effortlessly chic neutral aesthetic. Every candle smelled better than the next and the home decor is incredible! I especially loved the oversized wood charcuterie board. Rachel, the owner, was super friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond finding the candles I wanted.
