I recently visited Joann Fabrics and Crafts and had a very disappointing experience with the men’s bathroom. It was in terrible condition dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. When I brought it up to the manager on duty, she said she couldn’t do anything about it because she had to wait for a male employee to come in to clean it.

This response was extremely frustrating. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and it’s unacceptable to leave a bathroom in such a state simply because of the staffing which I’m assuming was all girls at the time. If there are no male employees available, there should be a backup plan to ensure all facilities are properly maintained.

I hope Joann’s management takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue so future customers don’t have to deal with such an unpleasant situation.

I stopped in to look at sewing supplies as I’m just getting into it. Faith was so incredibly helpful and friendly and really pointed me in the right direction for supplies and great tips for getting started. Faith is a MVP!

My partner and myself have over 50 years of retail management and we completely understand the holidays and the occasional skip of cleaning the store when running late once in a while….however….this store was absolutely disgusting. From the moment we walked through the door the carpet looked as though it has not been vacuumed in months. As we walked through the store looking for needle point department it was very clear this was a manager who just doesn’t care or have any pride in what they do. The floors matched the carpet and were just outright nasty and obviously haven’t been swept in quite a while. We know what 1 or 2 days neglect due to circumstances but this was at least 1 week or more of trash and dirt. The shelves and pegs were either empty or dirty. The stock was sparse at best and by the time we found what we were looking for it was all empty pegs and shelves. By the time we reached the aisle we needed I felt dirty and just didn’t want to be in the store any longer, let alone purchase anything. Luckily they were pretty much empty and I didn’t have a choice. Walmart had a lot more then they did (where we stopped on a whim and found most everything we were looking for ). We did see 2-3 employees and not one was friendly or looked like they wanted to be there. We both are general managers in retail and completely understand some days but this store looks like it’s been abandoned and neglected for
Months not just 1 or 2 days being busy. Sad to say I will not be visiting again.

A very messy place. It’s hard to shop here because NOTHING is in the correct spot. This location needs some serious help- and a reopening after organizing. Impossible to find what you’re looking for. Choose another location for your craft/fabric needs.

Faith was very helpful in the fabric department, but none of the other employees spoke, smiled nothing.
The checkout wait was ridiculous 😡 4 people waiting one at the counter... She never called for back up. The wait was so long that 2 people got out the line and left the store.

No one said anything because no one cared enough to lose the customers... IJS
