Janice Ko (Senior Sale Assistant) was very approachable and took her time to let me try the different scents.
She gave me some tips on how to layer scents.
She gave me some samples of perfume and lipstick.
I will definitely come back for my annual Christmas shopping next year. I don’t feel intimidated.
She is very welcoming. Such a delight to visit their Lexington St. store in Soho, London.

I entered the store with the intent of buying a new scent but I saw the wide selection and was immediately intimidated. MJ approached me after a minute of me taking it all in and I told her I’m not super educated on fragrances but I am very interested in learning and we talked about things I think I like and don’t like. She took me through an 10 scents encouraged me to be honest so we could find my style. She showed me the science of layering and oils and did not pressure me to buy at all. She actually encouraged me to take some samples home to think about then come back when I was ready. But I knew which one was for me. Then we actually went thru like ten more scents as she compiled a bunch of samples for me to take home. She encouraged me to try those for a few days and if I liked something better than what I got the big size of, I could exchange it. This was probably the best in store retail experience I’ve ever had. I was actually so happy to tap my card for the transaction. The best part is, I went to dinner and went out the same night. Got back and took a good shower. Woke up and my wrist is still smelling strong with the oil roller and spray combo! I can’t wait to grow my collection of Byredo. I wish MJ a lifetime of happiness!

MJ established a new standard of store experience and product knowledge. Should definitely be store manager if not already.

I brought in my partner for an organised perfume tasting across the whole range organised by MJ upstairs.
From the beginning her attention to detail was impeccable (comfort; conversation; welcoming) and her knowledge on the science of layering and oils stroke us from the first instant.

No only that, but MJ is probably the best storyteller BYREDO employs and that should be rewarded. We embarked on a journey of memories or ideas every-time she addressed a scent and my partner's final choice was BAL D'AFRIQUE.

Me and my mum went in this afternoon (15/10/2024), we are all the way from Australia and love byredo and these two lovely men served us. Very kind and had a good chat. Extremely helpful with helping us choose our scents and very knowledgeable as well. A very pleasant experience.

I had a makeup session with the lovely Isaac yesterday. He was super comfortable to be around and had a very gentle approach when applying makeup. I learnt so much about the brand from him and would definitely recommend it! Thank you Isaac !!
