I love this shop, especially last a few months , after transformation! I am a bargain! Looking for something special! And I have it from there. If you’re asking what is the real reason to buying anything there ? PEOPLE! M and S , they are real gems. Both looking like they are in right place, doing the best job possible, being the part of the shop. Creating, maintaining, thinking what can be better, what kind of changes could be made?
The people- stuff there including volunteers they are the real heart of the place.
Ps. I manage the business more than 25 years and I know place it is only the place even the most beautiful but if it is with heartless it will be empty place.
So congratulations Shelter Islington.

The staff here are always lovely, the shop is always clean and well stocked. The store manager is really lovely, too! She gave me some urgently needed fashion advice, when picking out gifts for people. You probably can spot her because she’s always dressed really well and usually has a big smile on her face. The location of the shop is really good, loads of places to eat and drink close by and it’s walking distance from the train station too.

I don’t normally write reviews but feel I have to. This is a truly amazing shop and I have found some wonderful items. Wonderfully set out space always clean and welcoming. But the really best thing is the manager Stephanie who is always cheery and welcoming she is a true asset and it’s because off her that I love coming here.

I went across this shop by accident and meet the amazing Steffy who helped me to pick my clothes for the holidays. I must to confess that I am a shelters fan ! I visit Camden,the one near Holland Park 27 bus but none I found such a friendly and engaging person . Now I try to visit the shop weekly. Thanks for your hard work and the amazing work settlers.

Coffee and Talk

Unfortunately, my experience here was not the best. Even though opening hours start at 10am, the lady closed the doors in my face at 10:15am with the comment that she needs more time to prepare for opening. I was so frustrated by such attitude towards clients that could not move for a couple of minutes 🙂
I have all the respect for her work, I understand how difficult it is. I only ask that the opening hours be updated or that she come earlier to prepare for the opening.

Such a beautiful store. Great selection of stock for sale and good prices. Displays are always well presented and a lot of care and love has gone into the store. The manager and staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. A lovely shopping environment raising money for a great cause.
