I've shopped here on and off as a local and from here on it's OFF. I like to support a locally owned shop and Amy has some nice brands. During my last few visits/purchases here I saw their sales people size up groups coming in and out and outright ignored some. I was uncomfortable watching them treat some shoppers so disrespectfully. As if they were not good enough/rich enough to enter.
2 weeks, 4 days later after I made a $800 purchase, I attempted to return one item. Tags on, receipt with me, item unworn. Knowing they're a small shop I figured I'd only get store credit. I was wrong- they handed the item back and told me 2 weeks no exceptions. So sorry. Bye. Couldn't have said it better. BYE! The snarky salesperson told me "someone would have really loved them, too bad they didn't work". I can appreciate sticking to rules, but I'm not sure how Amy's keeps loyal local customers with this service and rude attitude.
Do yourself a favor and SKIP OVER this store. There are too many other shops in Scottsdale and online to support that appreciate their customers.

Following up: my last purchase was 2-3 weeks ago for full purchase price no discount. Happy to prove it. It would be helpful if your employees inputted all transactions.

I was going buy a dress here but their staff really turned me off by her reaction. She couldn’t wait to fix everything right after I put my hand on the outfit, quite disturbing and making us really uncomfortable! So we just left.
Update: it’s funny how they always find excuses for all the 1-2 star reviews. She literally came to fix every single outfit right after we touched it. I don’t even know what she’s talking about —a large group That’s very interesting. Not coming back to this business anymore based on how they resolve problems

The staff is so thoughtful! I reached out to them with a request regarding my web-placed order, and they responded within 1 hour and they kindly offered to accommodate my request. They're very considerate and thoughtful. I'll definitely be ordering from them again <3 ... Cheers!

I've lived in Arizona 8 years now so I know the history of the Amy store. The Amy store opened in 2012 sold low sears quality clothes for Luis Vuitton/Gucci prices and the owner/store manager was incredibly rude to customers then Amy shutdown in 2017 because nobody shopped at the store. Now the Amy store recently reopened and is selling the same merchandise nobody wanted for 5 years and the store owner/manager is still nasty to people. As you can guess nobody shops here like the first go around I live nearby and have yet to see anyone in this store when I walk my dog around the area. I don't know how this store doesn't have more bad reviews on yelp and google, maybe the store owner pays to take them down.

Now I know why this place has 1 star reviews. I made my first order on a jacket. I live local and asked for the jacket to be on hold but they wouldn’t unless I purchased it. The store had buy two or more sale items and get 20% off so I said ok I will just look and see what they have in store when I pick my items. When I got there I was not greeted, I went up to the counter told her I had a ONLINE order for Sonya. She went got my item and then I told her I’m gonna browse and see what other sale items you have because it was 20% off two or more items. Then a girl who was working on the other side, rudely interrupted and said you can’t do that here that is only online. Their excuse was that they have different systems… we live in 2024 you can easily tell your system in the store to refund 20%. Also, it makes no sense just because I bought the item online, picked up in store does not have the same 20% off deal? Especially when they have a lot more merchandise to choose from lol horrible customer service.

Note to owner: get managers who want people to walk into your store and buy items. The more your managers act like that no one going to want to walk into your store. Thats how I felt, I didn’t even want to look around after all that or buy from you ever again. I also asked for the owner contact info she’s like she won’t even deal with you, she’s gonna make you deal with us and then made an excuse she’s out of town. So owner, I left my contact info, if your “wonderful” managers give you my number I left, you can give me a call when you get a chance please.

I am a engineer, lawyer and a business owner; customer support is my #1 thing when it comes to an owner. I will always make them happy and return.

I purchased a handbag from Amy Atelier, a brand I'm familiar with and already own several of - and was surprised when it didn't come with a dust bag. I reached out to staff, and they reached out to the designer/manufacturer, who had discontinued the dust bags, but managed to obtain one for me. In an increasingly impersonal world, fraught with poor or non-existent customer service, this above-and-beyond service is just amazing! I am so appreciative of this level of customer service.
