It's a shame that a lot of smaller independent hobby shops are now closed but that's the way it is unfortunately. As for hobbycraft Southport I can't fault. The range of products is extensive and the staff are super friendly. If I had one small gripe it would be the limited range of modelling products but I fully understand they are catering to a broad range of hobbies.

Since taking up crocheting I have bought alot from here. The only problem I found is that my store doesn't sell everything I need, I either have to go to another store or pay for click & collect ( which I don't agree with).
Something I wanted my store didn't have in and there wasn't any option for delivery or clic& collect, but I found a store in Southport that had them in. So we travelled from Wigan to Southport and was told they weren't available, yet on the app it stated they had them !! I wasn't very happy.

Shop well stocked and for anything crafty it's great. The only thing i will say is my husband who is 70 was a bit surprised by being called 'bud' repeatedly by one of the staff. Whatever happened to being addressed as Sir.

Have never been to Hobbycraft but they had something I needed urgently. I brought item up on my phone screen went into store and had a good browse around not just looking for what I wanted but to have a good look around, you never know what else may find. But I found everything I got elsewhere earlier same day was actually dearer here at Hobbycraft by a couple of ££ per item. But what I needed only these had item. It would seem item wasn't on show so asked staff if had in stock. They were first class couldn't be more helpful they checked everywhere and came back with the item. It was so refreshing to receive such service and welcome. Thank you to all at Hobbycraft Southport.
