I like 5 Below, but I'm giving it 2 stars for lack of store security. Tren de Aragua much? The store was full of teen gang members on Sunday, throwing things, looks like they were stealing. I live 40 miles away, and didn't realize this store is in dangerous Midvale- gangs, drugs, worst part of Utah! Need a sign "no one under 18 without a parent". I don't live near here, but I'm not going to this location again. Didn't feel safe with gang members inside

30 minutes ago, my rating was 1 star. I upgraded it to 3 stars because the problem was eventually resolved after I called corporate customer service (good person, Jenna). On the previous day, I had a terrific sales person (a young black woman, didn't get her name) help me to find a portable electric pencil sharpener. She even reminded me to take my receipt, which has the return policy printed on it. Unfortunately, the item was defective, but a different sales person refused to refund the item, citing a DIFFERENT return policy posted by the register. I asked for the policy on the receipt to be honored, but he refused. I asked to speak with his supervisor, but he claimed he couldn't reach her. That's a problem: sales people should be given support they need, perhaps allowing him to call corporate if his own supervisor can't be reached. He needs better training ALWAYS to give customers a card with a number to call to express dissatisfaction. He mentioned that nobody ever helps him when he tries to reach out to his superiors for help. That's bad. A company needs to be there for their employees! I ended up having to find the corporate customer service myself, and they called him to approve the return, getting a 2 star bump in my review.

Guy at the register was really nice..they have a lot of items here at a Great price. Candy, toys, soap, shirts, bathroom items, etc. It's fun to walk around

This is my new favorite place! So many unique finds here! Wow! My first time here so I was expecting dollar store quality but they have name brands and for the $5 dollar and below price you can't beat that! They have self-check out and one cashier which is nice and makes their price affordable.

This store is always a cluttered mess. Yes, they have cool stuff but really I end up buying junk I don't need. This store is a version of Dollar Tree and Family dollar but right in the middle of the two.

I really appreciate discount stores since it is a way to buy goods that are affordable. This was the first time I have ever been in a 5 Below store..... Here is where the name fooled me into thinking it was possibility a sporting goods store. 😂 When a friend shared that she bought some massage tools, I stopped to check it out. I found some reasonably priced hand weights. The customer service was great at checkout. I will be sure to stop by again.

Are y'all ok over there? The store was so messy, it looked like an army of sugar buzzed children came running in with no parental supervision 😅🙃 I didn't want to ask a staff member if they were doing alright because I didn't want to come off as rude.. the gentleman in the back of the store was nice and asked if I was finding everything okay and I said I was good. I honestly could not find one isle that was organized and it was kinda sad. The guy at the checkout area started scanning my stuff for me and I was confused because I thought it was self service but okay, I didn't want to be rude there either. I hope they can clean the place up or people are not going to want to shop there.
