I love this shop. The curation of cards, gifts, and stationary is done so thoughtfully and the folks who work there are super warm and friendly! Emilie and Leena were really helpful and answered all my questions. Emilie’s attention and care to wrapping the gifts I bought made it really special. Each time I come here it’s such a nice experience and I always leave with something I’m excited to share with someone I care about. Highly recommend!

The Social Type is a very unique stationary and card store. The product line includes colorful stationary in bright colors, paperclips in unusual shapes (such as broken hearts for Valentine's), waahi tape with expletives, wax seals and cards that have current event humor.

I rated this darling store a "3 Star" because it was tiny in size. Basically it is a room with a table in the center. The store did not provide a shopping basket to hold the items to be purchased. And, just not friendly. Not too mention, this store would be $$$$ very pricey. $14 for paper clips. $30 for a box of small notes. But, unique items are expensive. I'd still go back. 😊

A lovely little neighborhood stationery store with carefully designed merchandise and a curated selection.

Reminiscent of the many stores that have disappeared. The Social Type is a welcoming place to have available still.

The card selection is limited and yet fun. Stationery sets, notes, and other paper products are distinctive. Other items are eclectic and yet refreshing to see available.

The staff are helpful and are excited about the products they sell.

This is my go-to for cards since I live nearby. Not as big of a fan of the stationary and gift portions of the inventory, but the card game is absolutely an A+, and cards are SO important. Oh, also, they have an insane gift wrapping situation going on behind the counter, and I've seen people go absolutely bananas ordering that stuff.
